    A place that is just outside the city-limits of Port Austin, MI. Rates are descent and the management are very friendly. When you show up, make sure you say hi to their friendly dog. By the way, pet friendly motel to boot. Since it's not on the lake, all you have to do is take a very short walk to head to a small public beach, can't miss it. The manager is from France and knows a good bit of photography, so he'll help you out on where to go.
